The purpose of this research is to determine elementary pre-service teachers’ experience with infraction of academic rules. A qualitative research methodology, survey design has been used for this study. The survey developed by the researchers used to gather information from 254 pre-service teachers participated in this study, currently enrolled to Dumlupinar University Education Faculty Elementary Education Teacher Education Program. Data gather with this survey analyzed by using frequencies, percentages and arithmetic mean scores. 98% of the pre-service teachers participated in this study stated that they have demonstrated behaviors which could be considered infraction of academic rules, at least once during their higher education life. Among the participants who stated that they have done infraction of academic rules 77,6 % of them were aware of the fact that their behavior could be considered as infraction of academic rules. The most frequent type of infraction of academic rules admitted to be demonstrated by pre-service teachers were giving information to the other class members about the exam content after taking the exam and allowing another student to read their answers on the exam paper during an exam
