Practical Experience of Geostatistical Inversion for Reservoir Characterization in Tyumen Formation at Em-Yoga Field

Sediments of Tyumen formation in Em-Yoga field are entirely oil-saturated. 3D seismic data were used for detailed studying of this field. Small thicknesses of reservoir, lateral and vertical heterogeneity of properties required to use a special method of predicting reservoir distribution in an interwell space. The most efficient method of solving such difficult problem is simultaneous geostatistical inversion. This method allows to get highly detailed model of 3D reservoir distribution consistent to seismic and logging data
