The rotating furnace coolant is made of raw materials including clayey silt, magnesium chloride, adhesives and enrichment sludge and the raw materials are mixed, pelletized and dried, wherein the content of the enrichment sludge in the raw materials is 94% by mass. The enrichment sludge comprises, by mass, 35%-45% of MFe, 55%-65% of TFe, 10%-15% of moisture, 5%-8% of CaO, 7%-10% of SiO2, less than 0.15% of P and less than 0.10% of S; the rotating furnace coolant comprises, by mass, 65%-75% of TFe and less than 3% of moisture. According to the rotating furnace coolant, the preparing method of the rotating furnace coolant and the use method of the rotating furnace coolant, the dephosphorization and desulfuration effect can be improved, slag generation is rapid, the total iron obtaining rate is high, steel consumption is reduced, and bad influence on the production technology and the molten steel quality is avoided.
