Brightening and sizing preparation for finishing viscose textile yarn

A brightening and sizing preparation has been developed which is based on a copolymer having a high content of acrylic ester units, prepared by a one-stage, high-temperature hydrolysis of an acrylonitrile copolymer in the presence of a mixture of water and an aliphatic alcohol.
