The coating film holder comprises a body with a thin middle portion and two thick ends, a assembly accessory with a thick middle portion and two thin ends as well as a slip sheet; two threaded holes are formed in the middle of the end surface of one of the two ends, two through holes are formed in the upper surface of the other end surface, a frame with an opening is arranged in the middle portion, and the upper surface and the lower surface of the frame is respectively provided with a metal sheet oppositely extending to the middle of a rectangle opening; the assembly accessory is in the same size with the body, and two threaded holes corresponding to the through holes of the body in position are formed in the upper surface of a first end, provided with the identical threads and fixed to the body; a high boss and a low boss are arranged on the middle of the assembly accessory, the height difference between the high boss and the low boss is not less than the thickness of the metal sheet on the lower surface of the body, and a slot is formed in the middle of the high boss; the slip sheet moves within the rectangular opening of the frame of the body and vertically clamped by the upper metal sheet and the lower boss. The coating film holder has no blocking effects on coating samples, greatly improves the utilization rate of a chip and reduces the cost of a laser device.
