[Problem] To perform torque control in consideration of contact patch loads of wheels. [Solution] A driving force control system 1 for an electric vehicle V has: motors 11FL-11RR configured so as to have changeable field magnetic fluxes and used for individually driving wheels 10FL-10RR; current sensors 15FL-15RR for detecting actual current values Ifl-Irr supplied to the respective motors 11FL-11RR; a contact patch load calculation unit 202 for calculating values in accordance with contact patch loads of the wheels 10FL-10RR on the basis of the actual current values Ifl-Irr supplied to the respective motors 11FL-11RR; and a magnetic field control unit 204 for individually controlling the field magnetic fluxes of the motors 11FL-11RR on the basis of the values in accordance with the contact patch loads calculated by the contact patch load calculation unit 202.
