Estado de conservación de la vegetación dunar en las costas de la Comunidad Valenciana

The state of conservation of the costal dune vegetation in Valencia region has been assessed within a survey of the vegetal communities present in these systems. The conservation status has been evaluated through a qualitative scale, which integrates criteria such as dune extension, structure and diversity of the vegetal communities, level of ruderalization, presence of invasive species, and floristic rarity. Special attention has been paid to the usual aggressions to this type of ecosystem and the situation of the most aggressive invasive plants.
