O lúdico na prevenção de acidentes domésticos na infância: um relato de experiência

The objective is to report the experience of nursing students in the use of playfulness on the approach of preventing domestic accidents in childhood, in situations involving burns, thus, through guidance and construction of knowledge with children, seeks to contribute positively to the reduction pediatric accidents and their consequences. The playful action was developed for children (10 to 12 years old) in the hospital class of the pediatric ward of a university hospital, in the period of June 2019. At the first moment, there was a conversation to welcome, create a bond and get to know their conceptions about the theme; in the second, puppet theater was performed with scenes from everyday life and; in the third, an educational video was shown to reinforce the subject. The activity showed a positive reception from children who show interest, knowledge, enthusiasm and active participation in the process. It was concluded that the use of playfulness to approach important themes was very significant and made teaching learning fun, dynamic and relaxed.
