Drug resistance status of opportunistic pathogenic fungi in China

Because of the increasing number of patients with immunodeficiency diseases and the development of invasive medical procedures recently, the morbidity and mortality of opportunistic fungal infection is ascending. Meanwhile, anti-fungal drug resistance is becoming an emerging issue owing to the nonstandard use or even abuse of antifungal agents. In this review, the drug resistance status of opportunistic pathogenic fungi including Candida, Aspergillus, Crypotococcus, Talaromyces and Mucor is summarized, so as to provide references for clinical treatment.
