40.3: Solution Processed OLED Displays: Advances in Performance, Resolution, Lifetime and Appearance

In this paper we review recent progress in development of a process for fabrication of active matrix OLED displays using low cost, scalable solution processing methods, including slot coating of continuous, unpatterned layers and nozzle printing of the emissive layer. Recent improvements in the performance of DuPont OLED solution process materials, in both spin coated and printed test coupon format, will be presented. All the data presented are from bottom emission devices.
