Múltiplos cistos do complexo maxilo-mandibular: revista de literatura e relato de um caso não-sindrômico

A ocorrencia de multiplos cistos odontogenicos em um mesmo paciente nao e comum, e
quando presente, esta geralmente associada a sindromes como a de Gorlin-Goltz. Por isso,
outras possiveis manifestacoes devem ser investigadas para excluir tal possibilidade. O presente
caso clinico refere-se a um paciente nao sindromico apresentando tres lesoes cisticas extensas
no complexo maxilo-mandibular, tratado atraves de marsupializacao seguida de enucleacao.

SUMMARY
The occurrence of multiple odontogenic cysts in a same patient is not common, and when
present, generally, it is associated to syndromes as the one of Gorlin-Goltz. Multiple cystic
lesions of the maxillaries are a common discovery in sindromic patient and, that, other
possible manifestations should be investigated to exclude such possibility. The present clinical
case refers to a non syndromic patient presenting three extensive cystic lesions in the maxilary
complex, agreement through decompression and posterior enucleation of the lesions.
