The Simplified Localization Method of Near-field Interference Source Based on the Cyclostationarity
2019
This paper presents a near-field localization algorithm for cyclostationary sources using the uniform linear array (ULA). The key technology of this paper is to construct a third-order non-Hermitian cumulant matrix, whose eigenvectors associated with zero eigenvalues can be used to estimate the direction of arrival (DOA) by using the root-MUSIC algorithm. The source ranges are obtained by using the one-dimension (1D) music search with the estimated DOAs. For the non-Hermitian cumulant matrix, it is necessary to do the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization of eigenvectors before range estimation. In this paper, a modified range estimation algorithm is proposed to solve the error caused by the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization. The proposed algorithm would reduce the computational complexity greatly via eigenvalue decomposition once. All elements in matrix are constructed by a third-order cycle cumulant, which reduces the computational load compared to the algorithms based on the forth-order cumulant. The performance of the proposed algorithm is proved by the simulation.
