Relaxation of the Left Ventricle

1980
End-diastolic pressure (EDP) and inotropic state of the left ventricle influence the rising limb of the pressure curve (1, 2). However, little is known of the relaxation of the left ventricle as a function of EDP and inotropic state. There is some evidence that relaxation is a function of the developed force (3).
