Manifestări extraarticulare în artrita juvenilă idiopatică

2017
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a chronic rheumatic disease other than different from the adult rheumatoid arthritis. Nowadays chronic rheumatism has become the most common cause of locomotor and ocular disability in children and adolescents. With immune mechanisms still undergoing research, the disease primarily affects the articular components, but the genetic determinism and the environmental factors give it a systemic, extraarticular character. Extraarticular manifestations may sometimes be the major motivation for physician presentation.
