The dot assignment can be extended to the interval assignment. Then, using the statistical method gives the results of debris flow hazard assessment, this method has more accuracy and generalization. Finally, the method is proved to be feasible and reliable by an actual example. And it provides a new method for weight determining on debris flow hazard assessment.
