Microscopic theory of pre-equilibrium nuclear reactions induced by complex particles
1983
A microscopic theory of pre-equilibrium nuclear reactions induced by complex particles is developed using the formalism of quantum Green functions. A chaotic distribution of the phases of the interaction matrix elements is assumed and the averaged cross sections are calculated for the following reactions: 1) statistical multi-stage direct processes (SMSDP) (with energy resolution ..delta..E..SMSCP). The ''free complex particlearrow-right-leftquasiparticles'' transition factors are analyzed. The behavior of the doubly differential cross sections (''linear ranges''), which gives information about the nuclear reaction mechanism (SMSCP or SMSDP) and the number of SMSDP stages, is studied.
