Resource-Efficient Interconnection of Multiple Data Centers by Using Superchannels and a Central Node with Intra-Superchannel Optical Switching

We propose and verify a novel data-center interconnection architecture for high transceiver utilization, by using superchannels to connect multiple data-centers to a central node where intra-superchannel optical switching is performed to support dynamic traffic demands.
