Analysis of quasi-static compression energy absorption of thin-wall cylindrical energy absorption device

This paper presents the advantages of the thin-wall cylindrical when it is used as an energy absorption device of heavy-load locomotive.It also analyzes the force as well as energy absorption characteristics of this structure with the theory of dynamic asymptotical flexuosity.The characteristics are researched by experimental means.
