EFFETS DU CHLORURE DE (2-CHLOROETHYL) TRIMETHYLAMMONIUM SUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT ET LA RESISTANCE AU GEL DE L’ORGE D’HIVER DOVER
1973
Plants of the winter barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cult Dover grown for 7 weeks harden better than those grown for only 4 weeks. At concentrations of 0.1–0.5%, CCC (2-chloroethyl trimethylammonium chloride) increases the frost resistance of winter barley, but has an opposite effect at concentrations lower than 0.1 or higher than 0.5%. In general, CCC decreases the length of the stems and increases the fresh and dry weights of the winter barley.
