The Minimum Voltage Point on Long Lines and its Use to Detect a Weak Connection of a Power System

This paper is a continuation of research to develop a previously proposed method of determining a complete list of unsafe sections of an electric power system, based on a determination of minimum voltage points. The features of the detection of a minimum voltage point are considered, and it is shown that it is possible to use a previously developed method for long electric power lines, taking its wave properties into account. The results of numerical experiments which confirm these conclusions are presented.
