Kompetenzorientierte Prüfungen im Beruf Kaufmann/-frau für Versicherungen und Finanzen - Fachrichtung Versicherung: Stand und Perspektiven

This academic research discussion paper presents results for the recognised occupation of insurance and financial services broker obtained within the scope of a BIBB research project entitled 'Competence-based examinations in the dual system - evaluation of the current situation and design perspectives'. An inventory of previous examination practice, including examination regulations, task setting, the implementation of examinations and training for examination staff, was conducted on the basis of a reference framework developed in the project. The work carried out in the project makes it clear that diverse competence-oriented approaches are already in place in the examination area of the occupation forming the object of investigation and that these require systematic further development.
