Seed bank and seed bank reduction of Orobanche ramosa in South Australia.

2006
Branched broomrape, Orobanche ramosa, an exotic parasitic weed in Australia, has been the subject of an extensive quarantine effort in South Australia. A program to evaluate the biology relevant to eradication methods has been underway since 2002. Several studies have been undertaken to determine the seed bank decline under Australian conditions. The effect of a product, with limited off-target toxicity and persistence, on O. ramosa seed bank and native scrubland is reported.
