Annual review of World Bank staff learning FYO4

Knowledge sharing is an integral part of the World Bank's operations. To ensure that staff have the knowledge, skills, and technical expertise to perform Bank duties, the Bank must function as a world-class learning organization. This vision is realized when tools, methods, and approaches are constantly updated and diversified to align learning activities with the changing context and growing decentralization of the Bank. This paper includes the following headings: the challenge; the World Bank Institute (WBI) intervention; underlying assumptions; evaluation method and instruments; participants and response rates; evaluation results; implications and conclusions; and acknowledgement.
