A high resolution and high sensitivity survey of the SMC at 843 MHz

The Molonglo Observatory Synthesis Telescope has completed a survey of the Small Magellanic Cloud at a frequency of 843 MHz with a synthesised beamwidth of about 44 arcsec and a sensitivity of 2 mJy. A mosaiced map covering 28 square degrees has been produced. Catalogues of 70 H 11 regions, 15 supernova remnants and 1100 background sources have been compiled.
