The use of surface-wave microwave discharge for production of amorphous carbon films

1999
The surface-wave microwave discharge propagating over a planar metal-dielectric structure is theoretically studied. This discharge is efficiently applied for depositing uniform (with respect to thickness) amorphous carbon films (ACFs) that are produced using microwave power input modulated in the range 0.1-0.8 kW.
