The determination method of fresh air volume in buildings for different density of the crowd

Abstract With the improvement of people’s living standards, indoor air quality (IAQ) is getting more and more attention. The introduction of fresh air has become the important way to improve indoor air quality. It has been adopted by various countries and prepared the relevant norms, including our country. This article has introduced three kind of typical theory of fresh air volume, and compared computing method and codes about it at home and abroad. We narrated the fresh air volume at the view of different density of the crowd. Using FLUENT software to simulate the indoor concentration of formaldehyde, we had ascertain the importance in airborne pollutants in buildings. Formaldehyde should be given emphasize thinking when designing the low density buildings.
