Traffic engineering data in the Czech setting: availability, range and usability analysis

The paper describes databases available in the Czech Republic and usable in the field of traffic engineering and research relating to road traffic accident sites treatment and road safety increasing. Specifically, accident, traffic and road structural data are analyzed. On an example, the availability, range and usability of data are shown. Both public and restricted sources are mentioned. In conclusion, a comparison is drawn and alternative methods are introduced.
