The research of instantaneous discharge method of lead-acid battery

Resistance of the battery was measured by instantaneous discharge method and the residual capacity was obtained indirectly.Four lead-acid batteries with great difference of performance were chosen,the feasibility of instantaneous discharge method was verified by horizontal and vertical comparison of the relation between internal resistance and capacity.Through the test of a brand new battery,it was found that the internal resistance was 29.56～42.83 mΩ when the capacity was 80%～100%,it showed that the resolution of residual capacity test was less then 5Ah.
