Sensors and emissions control in waste treatment installations

Abstract The regulation related to the emission of toxic compound from industrial facilities is in constant evolution. In particular field, if the incineration of municipal waste keep constant the actual increasing, heavy metals and dioxines emission can be a problem in the very near future. The lack of dedicated sensors is very problematic in the sense that it leads to a delay of answer and therefore a delay of decision in case of pollution and, so, an important risk for the population.
