Organic el element and organic el display and a hole transporting polymer compound for an organic el element

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element which has high efficiency of light emission and long element lifetime by using a hole-transporting high polymer which is soluble in an organic solvent before being cross-linked and is insoluble after being cross-linked. SOLUTION: The organic EL element has a positive electrode 2, a hole implantation layer 3, a light-emitting layer 4, and a negative electrode 5 stacked in order on a substrate 1, and the hole implantation layer is made of a hole-transporting high polymer having a polycarbazole structure shown by general formula (1).
