A traves de las diferentes epocas la actividad fisica ha tenido una funcion importante para la vida de las personas. Esto ha resultado en una evolucion de las metas y objetivos de la Educacion Fisica. Numerosas han sido las personalidades que se han dedicado al estudio del movimiento humano en Cuba y el mundo. Es objetivo de esta investigacion valorar la trayectoria profesional de Raudol Ruiz Aguilera en la Educacion Fisica y el Deporte quien incansablemente se mantuvo aportando a instituciones con las que tuvo la oportunidad de colaborar; su diseno del Instituto Superior de Educacion Fisica, el concepto de preparacion de especialistas con elevado rigor cientifico a partir de igual exigencia a los profesores, la respetuosa y familiar identificacion con sus alumnos, asi como el desarrollo de la voluntad y los valores, generaron sin lugar a duda un ambiente academico sin precedentes dentro del sistema de Educacion Superior cubano. Palabras clave: Educacion Fisica, tecnologia, historia.   ABSTRACT Throughout the different eras, physical activity has played an important role in people's lives. This has resulted in an evolution of the goals and objectives of Physical Education. Numerous personalities have been dedicated to the study of human movement in Cuba and the world. It is the objective of this research to assess the professional career of Raudol Ruiz Aguilera in Physical Education and Sport who tirelessly kept contributing to institutions with which he had the opportunity to collaborate; its design of the Higher Institute of Physical Education, the concept of preparation of specialists with high scientific rigor based on equal demands on teachers, the respectful and familiar identification with their students, as well as the development of will and values, undoubtedly generated an unprecedented academic environment within the Cuban Higher Education system.
