Ethyl 6‐amino‐2‐(chloromethyl)‐5‐cyano‐4‐o‐tolyl‐4H‐pyran‐3‐carboxylate

In the title compound, C17H17ClN2O3, the six-membered pyran ring adopts a near-boat conformation. The crystal packing features two intra­molecular C—H⋯O inter­actions and the crystal structure is stabilized by inter­molecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. These lead to two primary motifs, viz. R22(12) and C(8). Combination of these primary motifs leads to a secondary R22(20) ring motif.
