The method comprises the steps of receiving a user image including a face(s) sent by a user, determining the number of the face(s) in the user image, extracting image feature information containing a single face if there is one face, extracting image feature information containing multiple faces if there is multiple faces, determining an audio or video recommended to the user according to the extracted image feature information, and recommending the audio or video to the user. By adopting the method and the system of the invention, an image can be analyzed more comprehensively so as to find out the requirements of users, recommend a suitable audio or video to users and improve the user experience.
