Assessment of myocardial perfusion during pharmacologic contrast stress echocardiography

We believe that using MCE simultaneously with a dipyridamole stress protocol and thallium-201 SPECT for the detection of coronary artery disease is safe and found that a single triggered intermittent imaging protocol is easier and less time consuming than dual triggering. The location of these perfusion abnormalities correlated well with thallium-201 SPECT, especially if segmental wall motion analysis and perfusion were used together.
