Применение фотогенерированного йода для количественного определения водорастворимых антиоксидантов

2020
A photochemical method for the determination of water-soluble antioxidants has been developed based on titration of the analyte by photogenerated iodine obtained by irradiating an auxiliary solution containing potassium iodide, a sensitizer at pH 5.6. The titrant content in solution was monitored by the voltammetric method. Stabilization of current in the cell indicated completion of the reaction. This technique satisfies the validation parameters including criteria of linearity, precision, and correctness. Application of the proposed method in analytical practice allows reducing not only the time of single determination (due to absence of the need for preparing standard solutions and performing routine analysis), but also the cost of single analysis, since it does not require the use of expensive equipment and reagents.
