Scanning circuits for mass spectrometers

A description is given of a number of circuits for scanning a mass spectrum in a magnetic field type mass spectrometer. Linearization of the mass-scale on the recorder producing the mass spectrum is described, both when scanning the magnetic and the electric field. Some time-saving circuits are given.
