The next generation fuel system

Today, over 90 % of European fuel systems are made in plastic. By producing plastic fuel tanks the conventional blow molding technology has reached its maximum potential. With the Next Generation Fuel System (NGFS) the Kautex Textron GmbH & Co. KG developed a twin sheet process which simplifies the production of plastic fuel tanks and allows the integration of components and complex functions within the tank.
