Material composition useful as raney-type catalyst for hydrogenation of halonitroaromatic compound into haloaminoaromatic compound and application thereof

PURPOSE: To provide a Raney-type catalyst for hydrogenation which alleviates a problem of hydrodehalogenation and can increase, in particular, yield and catalyst life, and to provide applications thereof. CONSTITUTION: This raney-type catalyst may be prepd. from an Ni/Al/Mo alloy in an Al to Mo wt. ratio of not less than 1, pref. not less than 2, still pref. 2 to 3.
