Gastrointestinal drugs (Jan 2019–Dec 2019)

2020
Abstract The Side Effects of Drugs Annuals is a series of volumes describing the adverse effects and adverse reactions of drugs. The series supplements the content of Meyler's Side Effects of Drugs: The International Encyclopedia of Adverse Drug Reactions and Interactions. This review of the January–December 2019 publications addresses adverse reactions to gastrointestinal-related drugs: acid-impacting, anti-constipation, prokinetic, antidiarrheal, antispasmodic, antiemetic, and anti-inflammatory agents. Materials surveyed included systematic reviews, clinical trials, observational studies, meta-analyses, and case reports with the additional filters of adverse drug reactions, drug-interactions and adverse events.
