A torsional vibration damper, in particular the drive train of a vehicle, comprising a torsional vibration damper (18) having a primary side (36) and a counter to the action of a damper spring assembly (42) with respect to the primary side (36) about a rotational axis (A) rotatable secondary side (38), wherein a side of the primary side (36) and secondary side (38) has two cover disc elements (28, 30) and the other side of the primary side (36) and secondary side (38) comprises between the cover disc elements (28, 30) disposed central disc element (40), wherein the cover disc elements (28, 30) by first connecting members (46) radially inwardly of the damper spring assembly (42) are connected together axially and to transmit torque is connected, is characterized in that the cover disc elements (28, 30) by second connecting elements (50) against movement are axially coupled to each other away from each other, wherein by the second connecting elements (5 0), substantially no torque between the cover disc elements (28, 30) is transferable.
