Controller for rotating apparatus

1992
PURPOSE:To use fractals to approximate the operation of an amenity apparatus to a more natural phenomenon with a more practical and simple means by gradually reducing at least one of control parameters at a prescribed reduction rate to recursively give it to an operation means and repeating this operation self-similarly. CONSTITUTION:Before a motor 8 is started, it is confirmed that a decelerator 14 is at a low speed, and a controller waits for several seconds as a switching time. The control parameter of rotation of a rotating vane 13 is determined by a prescribed formula, and the initial value of the reduction rate of the angle of rotation and the reduction rate at the stop time are determined. The controller self-similarly repeats the processing a prescribed number of times as follows; a counted value or a variable indicating the angle of rotation or the stop time is given as a value varied in a cerrtain range, and the angle of rotation and the stop time are substituted into a recursive function, and for example, the reduction rate of the angle of rotation is gradually reduced, and the function itself is recursively called and is given to a microcomputer 1. Thus, the fractals is used to approximate the operation of, for example, a washing machine to a more natural phenomenon.
