On Social Ideological Trend in Late Qing Dynasty and Early Republic of China and the Translation and Creation of Detective Literature

In late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China,the intellectuals issued for innovation and change due to their concerns about the poor and weak country and discontent for feudal government.They made a major breakthrough in literature.By translating a lot of foreign literary works,they hope to change the way of thinking and the cultural tradition of Chinese,look for a path of salvaging the country and the nation.The translation and imitated creation of detective literary works,which were closely related to social ideological trend of emancipating thought,more or less played a role in intellectual enlightenment.
