Design and Analysis of Multilayer Lossy FSS Based Broadband Absorber

Combined with the unique dispersion characteristics of the resistive film, a multilayer broadband lossy FSS absorber containing three basic topological types is proposed in this paper. The relative bandwidth is fL/fH 151.8% (1.6-11.7 GHz) with the thickness of 33 mm. Each layer is printed by resistive ink with square resistance of 50 Ohm/sq. The measurement is consistent with the simulation, which prove the validity of the design.
