Development of ARM-based measure & control analysis system of portable Near-Infrared Spectrometer

2010
To improve the power consumption performance and portability of the Near-infrared Spectrometer based on Master/Slave manner, an embedded measurement, control and analysis system based on ARM S3C2410 is developed. For the system hardware, the combined form of core-board and extend-board is employed. The components of extend-board include the analog-to-digital conversion module, the stepper motor drive module, NAND Flash interface, LCD and touch screen interface, as well as the keyboard, USB and other peripheral interfaces. For the system software, the embedded software platform is built based on ARM-Linux operating system, vivi system boot code, Linux2.4.18 kernel and cramfs file system; the drivers for the keyboard, A/D, the step motor, USB, and other devices are developed, respectively; the GUI user application is designed with QTE2.3.7. The experiment results show that the system can be used to control spectrum scanning, and to acquire, process, analyze, store and display the spectral data. In addition, this system realizes the integration of measurement, scanning control and analysis of spectrum in the portable Near-infrared spectrometer.
