Background The importance of vitamin D sufficiency in deficient dialysis patients is uncertain. This study aimed to determine if high-dose cholecalciferol for 1-year affected symptoms, muscle strength, blood pressure (BP), cardiac ischaemia, parathyroid hormone, calcium or phosphate.
