Schwermetalle in Kondensaten von Brennwertanlagen

Within the framework of the Calorific Value Technology programme sponsored by the Bremen Senator for Environmental Protection and Urban Development, a concurrent study of 40 calorific value plants was carried out in the State of Bremen to determine heavy metal concentrations in the condensate. The purpose of the study was to determine whether and to what extent heavy metal contents in condensates from calorific value plants exceed the limit values of ATV-M 251 and/or the financial support guidelines of the State of Bremen. On the basis of the results obtained so far, the expected pollution load for the State of Bremen was estimated and the heavy metal concentrations identified were compared with those found in condensates of residential sewage.
