해외 한국어 학습자를 위한플립드 러닝 수업 개발과 활용 사례

2016
This study reports the results of applying flipped learning to an intermediate-level Korean language course for one semester at a university in Hong Kong. Lack of time and opportunities for exposure to Korean is the greatest difficulty for those learning the Korean language outside of Korea. In general, the class time is shorter and the class size is larger in Korean as a Foreign Language (KFL) contexts than for Korean courses offered in Korea. Therefore, KFL teachers need to develop methods to overcome this challenge. This paper suggests a solution in flipped learning, based on the results from a KFL course to which flipped learning was applied. The development, contents, and students` evaluation of the flipped course were described and analyzed. The findings confirm that flipped learning can be an effective method to resolve such problems in KFL learning environments. (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University)
