Versatile All-Fiber Generation of a 128GHz Frequency Comb Using Temporal Self-Imaging and Cross-Phase Modulation

We demonstrate a new method for optical frequency combs generation with broad FSRs (>100-GHz) in an all-fiber setup. This method overcomes current FSR limitations imposed by the limited bandwidth of modulators and the driving electronics in mode-locked-lasers and electrooptic combs.
