A case of renal capsular liposarcoma

2003
: A 70-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with microscopic hematuria. Abdominal echography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed renal capsular tumor, and radical nephrectomy was performed. The tumor was diagnosed histopathologically as liposarcoma (well differentiated type). This tumor did not invade the renal parenchyma but extended from the upper pole to the lower pole on the surface of the renal capsule. He has been alive without disease for 14 months after surgery.
