Shortening publication frequency—a good method to serve authors

Service consciousness is one of the most important qualities that sci-tech periodical editors should have.However,publication frequency is so long in China that large quantity of authors submit their manuscripts to foreign periodicals.To solve the problem,Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine took steps to shorten publication frequency and achieved good results in recent years.This paper takes Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine as an example,elaborating the importance of shortening publication frequency,the reason of the prolonged publication frequency and the way to shorten it.The paper points out that only with the sense of responsibility and serving consciousness can editors treat manuscripts and authors in highly responsible and painstaking attitude and win more authors and manuscripts.
